The Mental Health IOP at
Centennial Peaks

Outpatient Mental Health Treatment
The Mental
Health IOP
Program provides skill-building experiences for managing
psychiatric symptoms, coping
with stress, and recovering
from loss.
The Mental
Health IOP Program offers a resource for persons with mental health
issues to:

Develop new coping skills or regain lost ones
-
Learn to manage mood swings, panic, depression, and
other mental health symptoms

Nurture a sense of safety and trust in others
by engaging in exercises in a group setting
The
Mental Health IOP Program can serve as:
- An
alternative to crisis hospitalization
- A
transition from inpatient to outpatient treatment
- An
adjunct to ongoing individual therapy in the
community
The
program includes:
- Group therapy to discuss treatment goals, share
experiences and build trust, appropriate boundaries,
and interpersonal skills
- Experiential therapies using activities to
develop awareness of self and others
- Educational groups designed to provide
information on coping skills and techniques for
dealing with symptoms
- Multidisciplinary evaluation of complex
treatment issues
- Referrals to appropriate social support networks
Program
sessions are at Centennial Peaks on Monday, Wednesday,
and Friday from 1pm to 4pm. Participants may
enroll at any time.
