Becoming a Love and Logic Parent — Judy Girard, MA, LMFT
Providing workshops that teach the unique Love and Logic approach to raising children which puts teachers and parents in control, teaches children to be responsible, and prepares them for the real world. The presentation is done in a fun environment while coaching you to be a Love and Logic teacher or parent. The class meets for seven consecutive weeks, two hours each week.

Filial Family Therapy Group – Lost and Found Inc.
This group will teach parents to conduct child-centered play sessions at home with their own children.  Parents will learn to structure a play session, to help their children verbalize emotional conflicts by observing and reflecting what they see in play, and to set limits on inappropriate behavior using a simple, non-punitive procedure.  The children’s’ and the parents’ mastery of the skills and behaviors of the play sessions can then be transferred to settings outside the play.  This group is for parents of children who are in therapy at Family Counseling Center, with their therapist’s permission.
