Anger Management for Boys — Susan Coleman, MA
Anger management group for 2nd-6th grade boys
who are struggling to control negative behavior when
they are angry. This group uses play, talk and art to
help develop anger management skills. Group members
learn to identify their "hot thoughts," understand the
role of being a bully or being bullied and feel more in
control when they learn to put words to their feelings.

Becoming a Love and Logic Parent — Judy Girard, MA, LMFT
Providing workshops that teach the unique Love
and Logic approach to raising children which puts
teachers and parents in control, teaches children to be
responsible, and prepares them for the real world. The
presentation is done in a fun environment while coaching
you to be a Love and Logic teacher or parent. The class
meets for seven consecutive weeks, two hours each week.

Hospice of Metro Denver
The Footprints Children’s Grief Center,
HMD’s program for young people 3-18 who are grieving the
loss of a loved one. Parent/ guardian groups meet
simultaneously.

Children of Divorce – Monica Yanez, MA, LPC,

Group for children ages 5-16 (different age
groups in separate groups) that helps children process
the changes they go through when their parents divorce.
Children will learn how to assert themselves and set
healthy boundaries with parents, how to express feelings
about the divorce, that dealing with divorce is a
process that takes time, and that they are not alone and
their feelings are normal.

Early Childhood Trauma — C. Blair Skinner, LMFT
This group offers support and lots of
valuable information for adults and parents on the
impact of trauma on young children. Trauma must have
occurred between ages 0-3 years but children can be of
any age currently. Group is particularly helpful for
foster, adoptive or non-offending biological parents but
is also appropriate for adults working through their own
trauma issues.
6 week group offered in evenings/ $50 per session, $75 per couple
/insurance accepted

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) – Lost and
Found Inc.
This group is open to anyone age 10 and up
and will teach EFT as a method using acupressure points
to resolve emotional or behavioral problems and to
reduce stress. This method is also very useful for pain
management and sports enhancement. This group will teach
EFT as a tool to use outside of therapy for life
management and enhancement.

Filial Family Therapy Group – Lost and Found,
Inc.
This group will teach parents to conduct
child-centered play sessions at home with their own
children. Parents will learn to structure a play
session, to help their children verbalize emotional
conflicts by observing and reflecting what they see in
play, and to set limits on inappropriate behavior using
a simple, non-punitive procedure. The childrens’ and the
parents’ mastery of the skills and behaviors of the play
sessions can then be transferred to settings outside the
play. This group is for parents of children who are in
therapy at Family Counseling Center, with their
therapist’s permission.

Gifted Kids, Gifted Families –Colorado
Therapies & Aquatic Center, LLC
Come and learn how to work with your gifted
child. This group is for parents of gifted kids and is
taught by Donna Roe Daniell, LCSW, who
has been a licensed child and family therapist in
private practice in Boulder/ Longmont for 15 years.
In addition to raising a gifted child, her life's work
is teaching families, couples and teens.

Girls Trauma – Lost and Found Inc.
This group is designed to help adolescent
female trauma survivors begin the process of healing by
combining education with exercises. Trauma can be
defined as feelings of helplessness resulting from a
variety of life experiences beyond our control. Group
participants will learn information related to trauma,
including approaches to becoming aware of the effects
and impacts of trauma, increasing self-esteem and
self-care, while helping build bridges to more
productive relationships.

This is a co-ed therapeutic healing group
for youth ages 12 and up, utilizing the modalities of
the creative arts: poetry, art, music, creative writing,
etc. This will be a safe place for group participants to
express themselves creatively and experience healing.

These experiential three-hour workshops
include a sensory obstacle course and give the basics to
what Sensory Processing is and what is involved when a
child suffers from Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD) or

immediately. Workshops are given every three to four
