Position	Description/Qualifications
Assessment Clinician	PRN (as needed) positions available. Assessment Clinicians are responsible for all face-to-face intervention/ psychiatric triage (assessment, diagnoses, and determination of level of care. The level of care assessment includes: precipitating events, support systems, presenting problems/somatic symptoms, clinical symptoms, mental status, alcohol/drug use, medications/health, psychological/social history, evaluation of risk to self/others and initial psychiatric diagnosis. In consult with the on-call psychiatrist, the initial treatment plan, including level of care, is determined. In addition, Assessment Clinicians will be responsible for reviewing all requests for transfer from other hospitals and conducting assessments at Avista Adventist Hospital (ER and inpatient floors) as needed. Requires Licensure as LCSW, LPC, or LMFT. Familiarity with medical issues and terminology highly desirable. Assessment Clinicians will have interface with managed care to obtain approvals, with outpatient providers and other facilities to arrange disposition of care, and all other internal departments to coordinate the entire assessment/admission process. The admissions process includes, but is not limited to, completing sign-in paperwork, implementing Holds and reviewing patient rights, and other necessary administrative duties.
Certified Addiction Counselor	PRN (as needed) position. CAC II minimum, prefer a III, strong mental health background. Facilitate CD and IOP groups in an inpatient and outpatient setting with adults and adolescents during the day and evening. Position starts at $17/hour.
Cook	Full-time, 32 hours per week. Experience required, 1 year healthcare experience preferred.
ECT Nurse	Part-time RN position available. Hours are Mon,Wed,Fri 8am-2pm. Procedure/ post- anesthesia recovery. This position is very physical and requires heavy lifting at times. Very positive and supportive team. Individual must be flexible.
Housekeeper	Full-time position Tues-Sat 7:00am-3:30pm. Must be reliable, experience in a healthcare environment helpful. Cleans in patient and non-patient areas, removes trash, cleans floors, removes and replaces soiled linens from designated patient areas, complies with facility safety, infection control and security program. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, initiating own work when no direct assignments have been given or when routine work assignments are completed.
LCSW - Full Time Float	Full-time position for licensed clinical social worker providing float coverage for Assessment and Social Work departments. Shifts will vary from week to week depending on department workloads. Shifts will include weekend and evening hours.
Mental Health Counselor - Inpatient	Full-time, part-time, and PRN (as needed) positions--day, evening, night, and weekend shift available. Provide direct care in acute psychiatric setting with adolescent and adult patients. Bachelor's degree required.
Social Work	Full Time and PRN (as needed) positions available. Day shift, including weekend days. Psychiatric hospital experience desired, including case management and discharge planning.
Staff RN	Full-time and PRN (as needed) positions available working varying shifts. Provide nursing care to patients with severe psychiatric illnesses in an inpatient and residential setting.
