Adult Mental Health Intensive Outpatient Program (MH-IOP)
The MH-IOP is focused on the
development of interpersonal skills, coping skills, relaxation skills,
management of symptoms and mood stabilization. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
(CBT) and other skills-based treatment methods combine with a goal directed
treatment plan and homework to increase an individual’s functioning at work,
with friends and family, and alone. Through lectures, discussion and exercises,
a wide variety of skills are presented and practiced, with the goal of
increasing mental health functioning and the ability to enjoy life.

While all treatment is in a group
setting, individual treatment plans are developed with the Group Facilitator.
Group Facilitators are professionals who are experienced in treating mental
health issues.

There are two track options for MH-IOP, both located at Centennial Peaks Hospital. The daytime track is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 1-4 pm for 12 sessions. The evening track is Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings from 6:00pm to 9:00 pm for 12 sessions. Wednesday is the family session.

can manage their symptoms better and live happier and more productive lives.
How to Access Care
Our clinical staff is available 24
hours a day, 7 days a week to respond promptly to calls regarding treatment.
Assessments may be scheduled any time. During the assessment a licensed
therapist or registered nurse will help to identify presenting problems and
match individual needs with an appropriate level of care.
