Goals of treatment include:

The IOP meets three times per week, for three hours each session, for a total of eight weeks (24 sessions). There are two tracks available and individuals are able to start on any program day. The DAY program meets Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 1:00pm - 4:00pm for 20 sessions and the EVENING program meets Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 6:00pm - 9:00pm for 20 sessions.

Program Philosophy

We believe that addiction is a brain disease which can be treated and recognize that many of those struggling with an addiction also have a co-occurring disorder (an addiction in addition to a mental health issue such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder). Our program is based on the understanding that the use of mood-altering substances manifests itself in physical, psychological, social and occupational functioning which not only affect the person using the chemical, but also family, friends and others in their social and work circle. We address each of these areas of functioning in order to build a strong foundation for recovery.

The Adult CD-IOP utilizes a Family Systems Model, which strongly encourages weekly family/support system participation. Emphasis is placed on family involvement while the adult is in the program.
