Residential Treatment Services for Adolescents
Centennial Peaks offers a
residential treatment unit which provides longer-term
care for adolescent patients ages 13-17 with psychiatric
and/or chemical dependency issues. This program
incorporates a structure-based Behavior Modification
Model dedicated to providing our patients and their
families with skills training and the tools to be
successful. Adolescents in this program have 24-hour
nursing care, individual sessions with physicians, four
to five group sessions per day, and access to our
in-hospital school program. They attend one weekly
individual session with a therapist and one family
session per week. Length of stay is determined on a
case-by-case basis and is flexible depending on the
clinical needs of the adolescent. The average length of
stay is 60 to 90 days.
