Adolescent Mental Health Intensive Outpatient Program (MH-IOP)
Program Description
The Adolescent MH-IOP is focused on
the development of interpersonal skills, coping skills, relaxation skills,
management of symptoms and mood stabilization. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
(CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and other skills-based treatment
methods combine with a goal directed treatment plan and homework to increase an
individual’s functioning at school, with friends and family, and alone. Through
discussion and interactive exercises, a wide variety of skills are presented and
practiced, with the goal of increasing mental health functioning and the ability
